John H. Kinnard, Pastor (E-mail)
A native of Columbia, Tennessee, John received his B.S. Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his Master’s degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.
After graduating from Middle Tennessee State, John worked a few years in the aerospace industry and entered the insurance industry in 1968. He followed that career path for 32 years before hearing God’s call to the ministry.
John and his wife, Donna, have between them two children, two step-children and six grandchildren. John holds a private pilot’s license, and he and Donna enjoy snow skiing, motorcycle riding and cruising.
Sherry Dean, Church Secretary
A Lynchburg native, Sherry has been a member of Forest Road UMC for 28 years. She has served for 14 years as the Administrative Assistant, and currently is the Secretary of the Administrative Council, Secretary of the United Methodist Women, member of the Fellowship Team, Evangelism Team, Membership Committee, Dana Tyson Circle, Lay Leadership-Nominations Committee and Children’s Church Teacher. She is also part of the Puppet Ministry Program and participates as a monthly Scripture Reader during the Worship Service.
Sherry enjoys camping, boating and traveling with her husband, Jeff, and family. She also enjoys her pets, landscaping, reading and shopping in her free time.
